Mark Pilger

PASTOR

Pastor Mark Pilger and his wife Barbara, came to Winamac after receiving the call of the congregation of the First Baptist Church of Winamac and was officially installed as Pastor on November 11, 2001.

Pastor Mark graduated from Maranatha Baptist University in 1984 (then known as Maranatha Baptist Bible College) and served in various internship positions (meeting his wife, Barbara through one of these in 1986 and they were married in 1987) until receiving the call to Pastor his first church in Union Mills, IN. (Union Baptist Church), which he Pastored from 1991 to 1997. After leaving the

Union Baptist Church Pastor Mark & Barbara attended Bible Baptist Church of Knox, IN, serving in various support roles to the Senior Pastor until the First Baptist Church extended the call to him (as above) to become their Pastor.

Pastor Mark also obtained his master’s in counseling from Andersonville Baptist Seminary in November of 2000, and then also received his ACBC certification of Biblical counseling in 2015.

Pastor Mark and Barbara have been blessed to be a part of the great work God is doing at FBC of Winamac and would invite you to come and be a part as well.

Daniel Bates

ASSISTANT PASTOR

Pastor Daniel Bates and his wife Jackie came to First Baptist Church of Winamac in August of 2014 after pastoring in southern Indiana for five years and pastoring in Kewanna Indiana for a one year.

Pastor Daniel graduated in 2005 from Shawnee Baptist College in Louisville Kentucky and in May 2019 he graduated from Faith Bible Institute in Rochester Indiana. In 2011 he was ordained to the gospel ministry and in 2001 he was licensed by The Glendale Baptist Church in Bowling Green Kentucky.
